Meet Alive & Thrive Wyandotte County's first class of Community Facilitators!
January marked a pivotal month in Alive & Thrive Wyandotte County’s journey toward building a healthy and resilient Wyandotte County. That’s when Alive & Thrive launched its first-ever Community Facilitator Workshop.
Designed to prepare community partners for taking trauma-awareness and resilience trainings into their communities, the 5-day workshop attracted 14 participants representing 10 agencies. We can’t thank them enough for taking time out of their busy schedules to help us launch this important work!
As Winter/Spring 2020 progresses, Alive & Thrive will be scheduling trauma awareness and resilience trainings that our new facilitators will lead.
Alive & Thrive is administered by Wyandot BHN with generous support from Wyandotte Health Foundation. Its network of organizations and individuals is committed to building a community where every Wyandotte County resident is safe, healthy, and resilient.
